Bustech's SBV has a highly adaptable body, which can be integrated with all major chassis manufacturers. The frame and chassis space frame is constructed of 304 stainless steel. Many of our standard features are listed as "extras" by our competitors.

CHASSIS
Extended to 12.5 metres by Bustech's space frame.

Constructed with 304 stainless steel.
SEATING CAPACITY
Up to 61 school type seating, with powder coated frames or 57 seat belted type seating.
FLOORING MATERIAL
Monopan composite flooring.
SPARE WHEEL
Mounted near-side just forward of rear axle, on a fixed carrier. The tool box is also mounted in same location.
FUEL TANK
The chassis supplied fuel tank is mounted "off side" with access door and stainless steel drip panel.
LUGGAGE BINS (Optional)
Full through bins, with two door access from near side. Off side bin doors can be added as an optional extra.
HEATING AND COOLING
A choice of either Denso, Coachair or Thermo King
EXTERIOR PANELS
One piece roof, front header, rear header and one piece side sheets. All panels are constructed from fire retardant fiberglass, with an option of 'quick change' side skirts, constructed from 5005 aluminium. Optional full side panel fiberglass option. The three piece front and rear bumpers have removable corners for quick changing and access.
AIR INTAKE
Mounted under cant rail, with stainless steel water diversion tray, or roof mounted intake.
ROOF HATCHES
2 roof hatches - one mounted in the centre of the cabin and the other is mounted at the rear of the cabin. Option of either Parabus push or thermal glass emergency type, with break glass hammers.
GLAZING
Up to 10 hopper windows and 4 fixed single grey tint armour plate, with key rubber into powder coated aluminium frame.
WINDSCREEN
One piece 6 mm flat bonded laminate.
DRIVER’S LOCKER
Incorporated in safe tower.
DRIVER’S SEAT
6860/875 with lap sash and lumber support in charcoal trim.
